Adelmo (Al) López

Al López is a seasoned C-suite executive, social entrepreneur, and strategic advisor with a 30+ year track record across the consumer-packaged goods (CPG), retail, finance, and sustainable agriculture sectors. He currently serves as Chairman & CEO of IB Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: IBAC), a SPAC targeting growth-oriented companies for merger or acquisition. 

Al previously served as President & CEO of Blair Corporation, a publicly traded direct marketing retailer with over 1,800 employees and $450 million in revenue. His leadership legacy also includes C-suite executive roles at multi-billion Corporations, including Russell Corporation, Dole Fresh Fruit International, Sara Lee Corporation, and PepsiCo/Frito-Lay, where he managed operations across the Americas and drove transformative growth and profitability initiatives. 

Al founded, owns and leads Finca Terrerito, a 273-acre regenerative specialty coffee farm in Honduras, which is fully integrated with Alma Coffee—a leading specialty coffee roaster based in Atlanta, Georgia. Together, they form a mission-driven enterprise committed to improving lives, stewarding the environment, and delivering extraordinary coffee from seed to cup. 

As Strategic Advisor to Mindia Health, a digital healthcare company operating in the CPG and retail space—Al brings a rare blend of operational leadership, compliance experience, and entrepreneurial insight. His advisory role supports high-level strategic initiatives, scalable infrastructure development, and value-driven partnerships across the retail healthcare ecosystem. 

Al was born in rural Honduras, emigrated to the U.S. in 1977, served honorably in the U.S. Army, and earned his MBA from Vanderbilt University. He is fluent in English and Spanish and continues to bridge business with purpose through advisory, board, and mentorship roles.
